1. On 24 August 2022, the Multi-Ministry Taskforce (MTF) announced Safe Management Measures (SMMs) changes. The key change is that mask-wearing for indoors is longer be required except for public transport and selected healthcare settings. 2. Employees between the ages of 60 and 79 are strongly advised to receive their second booster dose.
3. From 1 October 2022, the vaccination requirements to apply for or renew work passes will be changed. This will help to support the safe reopening of the economy, and minimise business disruptions. a Public transport settings that require mask-wearing include all public trains (MRT, LRT trains), public buses and their associated indoor boarding areas. For other transport settings, please refer to specific guidelines published by MOT / Transport Operators. Mask-wearing will continue to be encouraged in crowded areas.
b Healthcare facilities and residential elderly homes that require mask-wearing include all indoor premises of hospitals (inclusive of retail, F&B and other facilities within the hospital compound), primary care facilities, specialist facilities, TCM clinics, renal dialysis centres, dental clinics, day hospices, homes that provide residential care to the elderly, clinical lab services and COVID-19 testing, vaccination centres and COVID-19 community care facilities.

Following the Multi-Ministry Taskforce press conference On 22 April 2022, the Covid-19 requirements for the landscape sector can be similarly adjusted. All employees may now return to the workplace or worksite. For more details, please refer to the following Ministry of Manpower link.
